Not surprisingly, we were seen as one of the global key players in the SOAR Market for 2019 and received several prestigious awards that reflect our commitment to leading-edge technology and customer satisfaction.

As we edge closer toward 2020, let’s take a walk together and review some of the exciting highlights that 2019 afforded both DFLabs and our amazing customers.

A Year Full Of Accomplishments

2019 was an amazing year for not only the SOAR industry but DFLabs in particular. Some of the industry's most prestigious organizations recognized IncMan from DFLabs as one of the IT industry's leading security platforms, recognizing the benefits IncMan brings to organizations and SOCs around the world. Some of the highlights from 2019 include:

February - DFLabs was named the 2019 Red Herring Top 100 Europe Winner. While the competition was stiff, DFLabs was selected from nearly 1,200 privately financed companies in the European Region.

October - DFLabs was awarded two U.S. patents for its pioneering SOAR technology by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). The patents recognized innovations in Incident Correlation and Visualization as well as a revolutionary Machine Learning Method for Playbook Automation.

November - DFLabs was selected as the Security Automation Winner for 2019 at the Security Excellence Awards in London, England.

Community Development Incentive (CDI) Program

2019 also saw the introduction of our Community Development Incentive (CDI) program. The program was created to foster a shared approach to security integration development and knowledge transfer. This has enabled organizations to leverage the power of automated incident response workflows to limit the impact of security threats.

The primary focus of our CDI Program was to promote an open approach to security orchestration. It includes access to the Open Integration Framework designed to simplify the addition of third-party security tools and actions to the IncMan SOAR platform. Access to the CDI program as well as an abundance of other informative user and developer resources is available on our community portal.

Building on a tradition of innovation - IncMan in 2019

In the first quarter of 2019, DFlabs launched an enhanced version of our award-winning IncMan SOAR platform. It was specifically tailored to meet the needs of Managed Security Service (MSSP) and Managed Detection and Response (MDR) service providers.

This focus on multi-tenant capabilities enabled MDR and MSSP providers to centrally perform one-to-many operations across multiple customer environments, seamlessly leveraging the security products deployed at each location. Additionally, it provided flexible deployment options for regulatory compliance and granular analytics for reporting.

Delivering SOAR in the Middle East

2019 also saw DFLabs partnered with CyberGate, a comprehensive managed security service provider located in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. This collaboration was our first with a managed security services provider (MSSP) partner in the Middle East. CyberGate was able to effectively leverage DFLabs’ IncMan SOAR platform to provide managed incident response and remediation services for enterprises and government entities within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.

IncMan Continues to Define the State-of-the-Art SOAR Platform

As 2019 progressed, IncMan did as well. At mid-year, DFLabs announced several significant enhancements for the platform including deduplication and false alert reduction, Artificial Intelligence and Intelligent User Experience improvements that provided significant enhancements to the efficiency and effectiveness of our customer’s SecOps programs.

The DFLabs team is enthusiastic about the challenges and innovations that are coming in 2020. We can see that the threat landscape around our customers is evolving and that incident complexity is increasing exponentially. We look at this as an opportunity to continue to support them through innovation to solve not only their existing but future challenges by providing them the platform, tools, and expertise to truly keep their cyber incidents under control.

To conclude, we will quote the IT Security expert Stephane Nappo who says:

“It takes 20 years to build a reputation and a few minutes of cyber-incident to ruin it.”
